Wyoming Humanities | ThinkWY launches What’s Your Why? podcast series

JACKSON, WY — What’s Your Why? Podcast brings the people, stories and thoughts behind the amazing scholars at our events across Wyoming to anyone with an internet connection. Why do people do what they do? What is their passion, their story…their reason why? What new ideas, wisdom, and perspectives can we gain from another person’s experiences?

Host Emy DiGrappa keeps it conversational as she chats with amazing people, notable for their contribution to science, politics, arts, music, literature, philosophy and more — superstars of the Humanities!

The first three episodes, available to stream, follow or download cover a broad range of topics. Tune in and hear from:

  • Former Wyoming Senator Al Simpson
  • Renown author of the West, Craig Johnson
  • Sculpture and augmented reality artist, Zenka

Each episode will tell us what their “why” is…what inspires, motivates, and makes them tick.  The question “Why?” is at the core of the mission of the Wyoming Humanities | ThinkWY and at the core of the human experience.

Podcasts are radio you can listen to anywhere, anytime.

A podcast is essentially a radio show that you can get on the internet, so you can listen any time you want.  You have two options: You can listen to a podcast through a website (this is called streaming). Or, you can subscribe to a podcast, which means you can listen on phone, tablet, or computer, and never miss an episode.

When you subscribe and download a podcast, you can listen to it without an internet or data connection (great for driving across this vast state!).

About The Wyoming Humanities | ThinkWY

Wyoming Humanities is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is our state’s affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). We foster opportunities for communities to interact and discuss issues that are important to them. We use the humanities to ask questions that give insight into the human experience by analyzing the past, exploring the present, and thinking about the future. Our programs bring scholars and subject matter experts to the entire state of Wyoming. Through our work, the humanities help the citizens of Wyoming take a closer look at life.
