JOB OPPORTUNITY: Administrative Assistant

Description: Wyoming Humanities is seeking a temporary full-time Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records in our customer relationship management system (CRM) for final reporting and tracking of grantees for temporary American Rescue Plan funding, which funds numerous organizations around the state of Wyoming. The candidate will also be working with the Director of Operations in organizational recovery efforts to start the process of a dispersed virtual office setting.

Position Type and Location: Full-time, temporary and non-benefitted position reporting to the Director of Operations. The position will end on April 30, 2023.  The office is in Laramie, Wyoming, and the candidate will be required to work from the Laramie office. Salary is $35,000 – $40,000 depending on experience. This position includes sick and vacation. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with grants award management, including American Rescue Plan funds tracking and final reporting
  • Assist the Director of Operations to start the process of Covid-19 recovery efforts
  • Assist with the CRM system overhaul 
  • Work with the CRM consultant and the Director of Operations for best practices in grantee and donor tracking
  • Other administrative functions as identified by the Director of Operations and Executive Director

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Independent, well-organized worker and team champion
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • High School diploma required with professional administrative experience 
  • Conscientious, detail-oriented, and collaborative team-member 
  • High energy, outgoing, team player, and a passion for Wyoming Humanities mission are essential
  • Working knowledge of database systems and Microsoft Office programs
  • Salesforce experience preferred but not necessary
